1812 JROTC Recipients




Brianna Mokma, Battalion Executive Officer and Carol Jutte, 1812 Chairman for Schools


West Brunswick JROTC held its annual Awards Ceremony on March 28, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the school gym. This year's Order of 1812 recipient is Brianna Mokma. 
Brianna is an eleventh grade student, and a member of the JROTC academic team, school cross country, and soccer teams. Additionally, she is a member of the National Honor Society and DECA. After graduating from college, Brianna plans to seek employment as a communications specialist. She is currently the Battalion Executive Officer.  

1812 member, Carol Jutte of The Commissioner Charles Gause No. 433 Chapter of the National Society of The United States Daughter of 1812 presented a JROTC certificate, medal and fifty dollars.

Award went to C/CPT Brea Weaver, Scorpion Battalion, from the Daughters of 1812. 
Her commander is: Senior Army Instructor, LeeRoy P. Hanna, Jr., LTC (Ret), US Army.
