1812 Meeting Held on October 4, 2014

The Commissioner Charles Gause NO. 433 Chapter of the National Society of the US Daughters of 1812 held their first meeting on October 4, 2014 at 11:00 at the home of President Betsy Hamer.

Cindy Sellers, chapter registrar is discussing new members and perspective members for the chapter. There were 3 perspective members in attendance.

Diane Price was the guest speaker. Her topic for discussion was,  The Battle of New Orleans, How the battle that should not have been fought in an "impossible but inevitable city" in a war that's been forgotten united a country and changed its' boundaries beyond expectations.
