Kay Kye, a member of the chapter, received the "National 1812" award. Kay is a
Brunswick County resident.
This award was presented August 1, 2015,
at the NCSU Faculty Club in Raleigh.
Betsy Hardison Hamer, accepted the
award for Kay and recently presented
it to her at her home in Winnabow.
