Carol Canales Fulfills Her Dream to Present Pocket Flags to Servicemen and Women while Traveling...

Carol Canales,Honorary Past State President of 1812 has always wanted to be able to present these tiny pocket flags to men and women she would meet at a variety of events or at the airport when she was traveling.

Lisa English, the guest speaker for the 1812 June meeting gave a hands on flag making workshop on folding  fabric that Bonnie Becmer most generously donated for this project, so that everyone had the opportunity to make several of these flags. The little flag is put in a tiny plastic bag with a poem.
A flag for your pocket so you can always carry a little piece of home. We are praying for you and we are proud of you. Thank you for defending our country and our freedom
