Ronni Millier, director of the Durham VA Medical Center Voluntary Service, shows off the Hormel Compleats meals donated by the Captain Johnston Blakeley Chapter of the U.S. Daughters of 1812. Miller and her team run a food pantry serving homeless veterans throughout the Triangle.
Miller stated that the need for healthy and easily prepared food items is perpetual and she is hopeful that more 1812 Daughters will donate at their statewide meeting in early August and throughout the years to come.
