1812 State Meeting and The Bicentennial Celebration

The North Carolina Society United States Daughters of 1812 held their annual State Council Meeting on September 8, 2012 at The Sea Trail Conference Center in Sunset Beach, NC.  Major Mark Patton presented a slideshow at the State 1812 Meeting on ”Air Force Junior ROTC (AFJROTC_ Myth, Facts, and Statistics.”  Keith Hardison  gave an interesting and entertaining program on, "The British Are Coming or Are They?
The NC Division of Historic and Cultural Resources is coordinating an upcoming three-day event in Southport, NC on October 18-20th.It is called Lower Cape Fear and the War of 1812. For more information call 910-457-0003.
