In honor of the 1812 Bicentennial, Prof. Hickey presented a podcast with historian Donald Hickey. Prof. Hickey teaches at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska, and is author of several books on the War of 1812 including, The War of 1812: A Forgotten Conflict, Don’t Give Up the Ship!: Myths of the War of 1812, and The Rocket’s Red Glare: An Illustrated History of the War of 1812. In addition to his books, Dr. Hickey is a featured scholar for the PBS documentary on the War of 1812 which aired nationally in October 2011.
