We will lay flowers at the 1812 monument on the Garrison Lawn in Southport, NC at 11 am next Monday Jan 8th in commemoration of the Battle of New Orleans. We will go to Fishy Fishy for lunch afterwards (if anyone wants to know, Oliver's will be closed for some repairs, and Ports of Call is closed on Mondays)
Anyone who can bring some camellias from their yard, please let me know on Sunday. Many may be damaged by freezing temps, so flowers may have to be artificial.
