October 5, 2019 - is at Southport Gourmet and Sushi. Doors open at 9:45, meeting starts at 10. Gwen Causey will speak on her trip to the National Society’s Wreath Laying and Remembrance programs at Bermuda this past year.

May 22, 2020, International Merchant Marine Day and Wreath-laying Ceremony at the Merchant Marine Monument, Veterans Park, Downtown Wilmington at 11:00 am. (Next to the Coast Guard Station)
June 6, 2020, will be held at the Pilot House Restaurant on the waterfront in Historic Downtown Wilmington. Doors open at 11, the meeting will begin soon after. We will be in the room to the far right of the entrance, the north end of the building. The program will be Musings of Dolley Madison, presented by Jane Thomas, President of the Cherokee Chapter USD 1812 in Greensboro.

October 7, 2017. We will be meeting in Wilmington at the home of member Martha Blacher at 11:00. Directions will be e-mail. The guest speaker is Dick Powell. The title of his program is "Washington City Afire." There is a $12.00 charge for lunch, which will be s erved after the meeting.
February 3, 2018. Chris Grimes from Roper, NC and Chapter President SAR, historical reenactor. Meeting will start at 10:00 a.m.

June 2, 2018. Leisa Greathouse, Education Director Cape Fear Historical Complex, Fayetteville will present a program on "The Star Spangled Banner and Mary Pickersgill". The Commission Charles Gause 1812 meeting was held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Southport Gourmet and Sushi Bar on Howe Street in Southport, NC. The new officers for the 2018-2020 term of officer were sworn in by Nora Hickam

October 17, 2016: Wilmington - USD Daughters of 1812 and Colonial Dames members had a group meeting. They took a beautiful tour of the Cape Fear River. Then had their meeting/luncheon at Elija's Restaurant, 2 Ann Street in Wilmington, NC.

February 11, 2017 Guest speaker is Jim Greathouse, senior museum specialist in Fayetteville, NC Meeting will be at Trinity United Methodist Church in Southport, NC across from the post office. at 10:00am.
June 3, 2017 a 10:30. Guest speaker is Andre Duppstadt, who will give a brief timeline for the War of 1812 and information about Dolly Madison and Nathaniel Forsythe. The meeting will be held at the St. James Community Center on Rt. 211 in Southport, NC
