NC Daughters of 1812,
The Cherokee Chapter will be hosting the 2018 U.S.D. 1812 State Council meeting on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the North Carolina State University Club, 4200 Hillsborough Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
We are pleased to share the day with the Dames of the Court of Honor.
TENTATIVE Plans are as follows:
- 1812 State Officers will hold a board meeting at 9:00 a.m.
- Registration to attend the 1812 meeting begins at 9:30 a.m., with the meeting starting promptly at 10:00 a.m.
- Installation of 1812 State Officers for 2018-2021 will take place as the meeting wraps up.
- DCH will provide a speaker to begin approximately 11:15 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:45 to 12:45.
- DCH Meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m.
- We will use 2 rooms: society meetings in a theater-style set-up and speaker/lunch with round tables.
Please look for the invitation with more details and registration form some time in June.
1812 will be handling the reservations for both societies. Check in will be handled by both societies.
