First Meeting for 1812 Daughters this year is on October 7, 2023

 

Hello Ladies

 This is a reminder of the upcoming meeting for the Commissioner Charles Gause Chapter, Daughters of 1812. We are going to try this again for a tour of Poplar Grove Plantation that was canceled last year because of the hurricane.

 We will need a head count for those attending Poplar Grove tour and the lunch at Sailfish Restaurant. The cost for the guided tour is $12.00 per person. Both places will need a headcount.

 This email is a short note about the meeting and will be followed by a later email closer to the meeting date with pertinent information about the meeting.

 Included in this email are attachments from Laura Edwards, North Carolina State President with the NC State Newsletter and the NC State Yearbook.

v Poplar Grove Plantation, 10200 (Market Street) US Hwy 17, Wilmington, NC

v Time: 10:00 AM The tour starts, please be on-site by 9:45 AM

v Business meeting following the tour, this will be a short meeting.

v Sailfish Restaurant at Marsh Creek Marina, 2570 Scotts Hill Loop Rd, (4 minutes from Poplar Grove)
