Susan DeGroote, is a member of the
Stamp Defiance DAR Chapter in Wilmington, NC. Her husband Doug and her youngest
grandson, Webb are in the photo with her in their Colonial attire. Doug got his
outfit when Susan’s DAR Chapter sponsored the Stamp Defiance re-enactment in
downtown Wilmington. Thanks, Susan, for permission to post Webb’s photo on our
blog and on Facebook. Susan is also just finished her term of office at
the librarian for the 1812 General Gause Chapter. Susan is also recording
secretary for the Lord Craven Colonial Dames Chapter. Susan and her family
