Carol Jutte attended two Brunswick County Schools, North and
South and presented 4 awards to JROTC cadets. Pat Gooding filled in to present
West Brunswick High School. The JROTC
instructors were very appreciative that our Chapter presents the awards to the
cadets. Col. Steven Baker at North Brunswick High School in Leland was so
grateful of these awards. Col. Baker said with the presentation of the
certificates and medals the other cadets want to work a little harder so they
may have a chance to receive the recognition some of their upper classmen
receive.
The instructor at South Brunswick High School, Col. Blue
will be retiring and will miss working with him.

Susan DeGroote attended Sgt. Eugene Ashley High School honors
night at the high school and John T. Hoggard High School NJROTC honors night
aboard the USS North Carolina. DeGroote presented the following awards:
