Order a Wreath to Place on a grave at Wilmington National Cemetery. - Deadline Thanksgiving weekend

Wreaths Across America is a special event to honor our fallen soldiers. There are approximately 5,000 graves at the Wilmington National Cemetery. Our goal this year is to help provide a wreath for every grave. Many other organizations are also trying to achieve this goal. The information that is providied in this article should help you be able to order a wreath more easily. The wreath laying  event for the Wilmington National Cemetery in Wilmington is scheduled for December 13, 2014 at noon should people want to attend locally.    Fran Carlson is looking for help from DAR, 1812 and Lord Craven to help unpack the wreaths and  fluff the bows.  I believe she wants people there to help by 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Contact Fran at darfran@earthlink.net .

And should any 1812  Commissioner Charles Gause member want me to send an acknowledgement of their wreath purchase being made in honor of or in memory of someone, I can help with that.  

 I just need to know if in honor or or in memory of  the person's name and branch of service along with the name and address for the acknowledgement to be sent.
