The October 1st 1812 meeting was held in The Nicholas Room at The Reserve Golf Club in St. James Plantation. There were seventeen members and one guest present. Nora Hickam gave a informative talk on 1812 Saltpeter Mining. Cheri Lambert was sworn in as the State Curator for 1812.
Chapter President, Nora Hickam is holding a Bicentennial War of 1812 plate, which the chapter will purchase and donate to The North Carolina Room in 1812 National Headquarters in Washington, DC.
