February 2, 2019 Meeting of the Commissioner Charles Gause Chapter of US Daughters of 1812
February 2, 2019, 10 am. The next meeting of Commissioner Charles Gause Chapter of US Daughters of 1812 was originally planned for Brunswick Town, however the building there is still in rehab from Hurricane Florence, almost finished but not quite in time for our meeting. We are grateful to the Maritime Museum in Southport for holding their room for us, as we now will be meeting there on Saturday, February 2nd, at 10 am. Jim McKee will be our speaker with updates from Brunswick Town and the latest information on Fort Johnston and War of 1812 Col Lillington. Lunch will be a mixed platter of Subway wraps and subs. Please contribute $10, and proceeds will go toward chapter projects. You may RSVP to this email so that we will have a good count of attendees.
Kitsy Lackey is requesting our help in collecting Box Tops for Education. Alderman Elementary is in need after Hurricane Florence. Please bring to our Feb 2nd meeting. Thank you Kitsy! And Dale Spencer is still collecting for the VA Clinic in Wilmington. Please bring items for that effort as well.
See you all soon,
